Autumn

Leaves, butterflies and fur from the dog are falling to the ground as the sun gets cooler.

The few flies are soaking up every bit of warmth they can find

I love this solitary fly...these two photos capture the autumn melancholy, or is it poignancy, so well. Over here, the rains have let up and we're bursting with spring...same planet, so remarkable...

It is softly warm here, the last fruit on the trees picked and the flies very drowsy. Lovely days!
