the lake at autumn's end

Lake Wendouree was a pearly shell of bright water and reflected clouds, when we walked around it this evening.

Then, just as the sun went down, everything glowed orange and gold.

Perfect colors and reflections...does someone live on the boat in the lake?

The colours were wonderful - it was like wandering around inside an abalone shell.
Th boat just does tourist trips around the lake in summer, but it looked magical that evening.
